We have an extensive DVD and book library for those that wish to sit back relax and de stress. As we are situated only 3.5 km north of the beautiful seaside town of Bicheno, Tasmania and just 1 kilometer from the local nine-hole golf course, Bicheno's Ocean View Retreat is great for the extended stay with so much to offer nearby. Bicheno is at the heart of Tasmania's natural heritage, on the doorstep of the Douglas Apsley National Park and just 30 minutes away from the world-renowned Freycinet National Park. Explore the nearby foreshore and its pristine white sands, visit unique Bicheno's Motorbike Museum, enjoy a family outing at the Natureworld Wildlife Park, or perhaps take one of the evening penguin tours. Medal-winning vineyards are a short drive away and complement superbly the area's reputation as the State's seafood capital. "Catch of the Day" served at one of the many fine local restaurants is a perfect reward at day's end.
