Boggabri's history is quite fascinating with the town's main street having moved three times. A self-walk heritage trail through the town reveals many interesting highlights of progress since its beginnings in the early 1860s (available at Museum). A great way to get a 'feel' of Boggabri's life story is to visit the historical museum. You can lose yourself for hours taking a trip down 'memory lane' viewing memorabilia of days gone by.
